 Alu Tareko (Nepalese style sautéed potatoes)

Ingredient 

Potato : 300 gm

Clarified butter (Ghee) : 30 ml

Black Salt : As required

Schezuan pepper powder (Timbur) : As required

Whole dried red chilly
(for garnish) : 01

Preparation

Select the even size boiled potatoes and peel them.

  1. Cut the peeled potatoes lengthwise into wedge.
  2. Heat the Ghee in a wok or non stick pan and sauté the potatoes until it becomes golden brown.
  3. Remove the excess fat if necessary.
  4. Season with black salt and Schezuan pepper.
  5. Serve in the appropriate plate garnished with fried dry red chilly (whole).
